The Friends of the Rendezvous has over 100 Friends members. Not all of them live in Sherborne but they all recognise the difficulties and challenges facing young people and offer help and support in a way that suits them.

Supporting the Friends
The Friends generate a staggering £20,000 each year for the Rendezvous – more than the funding we receive from statutory sources. We rely on it heavily as a regular source of income and funds from the Friends go to support general running costs of the centre as well as specific projects.
Funds are raised through regular coffee mornings, sale of merchandise and events.
Coffee Mornings – Tuesdays and Fridays (10am – 12 noon)
There are two coffee mornings a week held at the centre. They are open to anyone who fancies a good cup of tea or coffee and some delicious home made cakes for a very reasonable price. They are hosted by volunteers and members of the Friends and where possible we try to host a student helper from Cambian Lufton College in Yeovil for young people with special educational needs.
Concerts & Events
Every year Raymond Woods organises successful jazz concerts in the Cheap Street Church which raise funds for us. Others hold lunches, raffles, donate proceeds from art exhibitions, tennis tournaments and a wide range of fundraising activities that help fund the work of the Rendezvous. If you would like to organise an event or would like someone from the Rendezvous to give a talk then please get in touch.
