After nearly 10 years our Young Parents Lead, Sarah Childs, is standing down at the end of the year to start a new chapter in her life. She’s leaving the project in great shape and it offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to make a difference to the lives of young parents (to 25) and their children in North Dorset.
Sarah is planning to leave at the end of the year and we are looking for a very special person to take her place, running and developing the successful project in the Sherborne and Gillingham/Shaftesbury areas (2 days a week, 14 hours total). Her replacement will be multi-talented and able to work one-to-one providing targetted support and advice and information, run group sessions, manage volunteers, maintain professional relations with health visitors, and at times work alongside social workers and the police – it’s a great and varied job but it can be challenging.
If you think you fit the bill then please get in touch with us by the deadline. Full details about the role and how to apply are below.
