A huge thanks go to Somerset Community Foundation who helped us launch our Yeovil learning hub during the pandemic and who have just confirmed they would like to support us again this year by part-funding the project. A great start to the New Year!
Their support means we can keep helping more young people get the qualifications they need to get to college, start apprenticeship and know that they can achieve.
We are also grateful to the Rotary Club of Yeovil who recently invited us to tell them about our work in Yeovil and as a result are also keen to support us.
And of course it doesn’t have to be financial support – the Yeovil sessions are so popular we now need more volunteers. So if you, or someone you know, think that they could spare a few hours a week to help someone gain a Level 2 Functional Skills English or Maths qualification then please get in touch. You don’t have to be a teacher – it’s practical maths and English and there’s not an algebraic formula or Shakespearean quotation in sight.
