Please note: our Sherborne centre and the other venues and buildings we use are closed to visitors at the moment due to the COVID lockdown.
We have moved our services online and look forward to reopening when it’s safe to do so.
Our centre under Cheap Street Church in Sherborne is the heart of the organisation and the home of the Rendezvous. It’s the team’s base, where most of our learning sessions happen and a lot of our projects and one to one support take place too.
The centre has lots of facilities – there’s a coffee bar area, a small recording suite and laptops and a computer room and now, thanks to the SAST IT department and Dorset Community Foundation, we have good wifi throughout the building.
Not all our activities are based at the centre and we also have other special projects happening in town.
Our work in Gillingham started with our outreach project in the streets and parks in 2017. Although we don’t have our own space in Gillingham we’ve had a warm welcome from everyone in all the venues we use including Riversmeet Leisure Centre and the town’s library.
We also run special projects. Here’s what’s happening in Gillingham…
Our Yeovil learning programme has launched and is based at the Vicarage Street Methodist Church by the Quedam Centre in central Yeovil.
Our work in Shaftesbury is street-based and so we don’t have a physical base to work from. But as time goes on this may change as our work develops – so watch this space.
